We’re delighted to announce our fourth Grow Alumni Event: Leading Social Design into the 21st Century

The Grow Alumni Event is your opportunity to network, get new insights and information about new Grow services and content.

Leading Social Design into the 21st Century

While business interest is still the main driver for most design approaches, the recognition that not all social needs are met and we fail to provide all social foundations between the planetary boundaries, has led to the notion of social innovation.

Recent occurrences of epidemic and geopolitical challenges have increased the acknowledgment for socio-technical system transformation needs new design approaches through technological, social, organisational and institutional innovations.

The third global Grow Alumni Event will demonstrate practices and case studies of social design including design for product-service systems.

We invited two highly respected design leaders that will contribute to the event:

• Colum Lowe; Director, Design Age Institute at Royal College of Art
• Fredrik Scheide; Head of Design Norwegian Labour and Welfare Administration

Further on we will discuss and workshop the consequences of these transition design practices for your organisations and, as usual, share the workshop outcomes with each other.
